The Crossfit Open is well in full-swing. This week was a repeat of last year’s workout, when I went head to head with the other Michelle at OPCF. 55 each of: Deadline (155 lbs), Wall balls, Calorie row, and Handstand Pushups.
She stayed ahead of me the whole time, since as you can see, her “thing” was deadlifts. But I got off the rower and knocked out 19 hspus in about 30 seconds. Welp, this year, I felt I had a better handle on the pacing…turns out I’m just not in the same shape I was. 2 less reps than I got last year!!! Ughhhh…but, still got 17 hspus in 30 seconds, which I’m not mad about. Fun workout 😊 but my hammies are still blownt up on Monday morning.
Kerri and I caught up all last weekend, for the most part, while sitting on each other’s frozen feet under a blanket on the couch. Undergrad style 👭💕
And, since Stuart and Becca have been really branching out trying all kinds of new things with us (hockey, gfdf lifestyle), they said I had to try golfing. Which, I wasn’t adverse to, I’m actually surprised it’s taken this long for me to give it a shot. With the understanding that I’ve never seen the appeal. And wouldn’t you know it, it wasn’t as boring as I figured this whole time! Plus it was probably THE most beautiful day. So alright 👍🏌
